LIU XU

Liu xu, pen name mo fei, xin zhai. Born in 1984 in jinan, shandong province, he studied calligraphy and painting with his father liu huaiyong since childhood. He graduated from shandong normal university in 2006 and was taught by the famous calligrapher, mr. yu mingyi. In 2007, he studied in the first postgraduate course class of chinese painting creation of chinese academy of arts, and was taught by mr. guo yizhen and others. In 2008, he studied in tsinghua university chinese painting advanced research class. Now he is a member of china artists association, a teaching assistant of the senior chinese painting research class in liu huaiyong studio, and the curator of beijing wanyutang art museum.
