Wang Shijie, a pen name, is a painter and calligrapher. Born in Qingyang, Gansu province, he now lives in Beijing. He graduated from the Academy of Painting of Renmin University of China and the Academy of Arts of China. He is a member of the Chinese Artists Association, a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, a member of the Chinese Painting Association of Gansu province, and a lecturer of landscape in the painting academy of Renmin University of China.
