Gao yanjun was born in zibo, shandong. He is a member of china artists association, vice president of art creation institute of people's painting and calligraphy institute of ministry of culture, distinguished painter of national painting and calligraphy institute of fenghuang county in hunan province, painter of huang gesheng studio of china national painting institute, painter of kong zi studio of china national painting institute, beijing wang shoulin studio painter. In 2011, I studied landscape in huang gesheng studio of china national academy of painting, in 2012, I studied color in tang xiuling studio of china national academy of painting, and in 2014, I studied character in kong zi studio of china national academy of painting, in 2015, I studied character major in beijing wang shoulin studio. Gao yanjun's artistic style takes sketching creation as the theme. He created sketches all over the country, looking for themes with the characteristics of the times. His works are based on folk houses in guichuan, guizhou, hunan, chongqing, guangxi, anhui and other places, the loess plateau in northern shaanxi of gansu province is the main body, which integrates the dwellings and the natural landscape into a whole, showing the unique humanistic nature and feelings between the mountains and rivers. We can see the history through geography, travel thousands of miles and read thousands of books, footprints spread all over the country, gradually forming personal artistic language, recording the track of life in the way of landscape sketching, which is the direction of painter gao yanjun's research over the years.
