Gao yuqiang, han nationality, was born in chengxian county, gansu province in 1962. He graduated from the fine arts department of tianshui teachers college in 1982 and studied in liu dawei studio of chinese painting academy from 2013 to 2014. He successively learned from famous painters yang liqiang, lei chun, liu dawei, feng yuan, ren huizhong and ding mijin. Member of china artists association, curator of longnan cultural center, member of china federation of chinese artists association, vice president of gansu jiuyuan painting and calligraphy institute, chairman of longnan artists association.
