Wang Peng was born in Liaoyang city, Liaoning province. Zhigong Party member, member of Liaoyang CPPCC. From 1987 to 1990, he studied in the Department of Chinese painting of Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts, and taught professors such as Xu Yong, Zhao Qi, Wang Yisheng, Li Lianzhong and Qu yongrang. In 1999, he studied in the second high-tech research class of heavy color painting of Ministry of Culture, he was taught by many teachers such as Jiang Caiping, Su Baijun, Guo Jiying, Li Kuizheng, etc.; In 2013, he studied in Tang Xiuling fine-brushwork and heavy-color painting studio, School of Fine Arts, Renmin University of China; from 2014 to 2016, I studied in Mo Xiaosong fine-brushwork flower and bird studio of Beijing Painting Academy. He is a member of China Artists Association, vice president of Liaoning Zhigong Painting Academy and president of Liaoyang Zhigong Painting Academy. He once served as the director of Liaoning Artists Association, vice chairman and secretary general of Liaoyang Artists Association, and chairman of Wensheng District Artists Association.
