Jiang Yunlian, whose pseudonym is Shang Yuan, was born in Guilin, Guangxi. In 1998, he graduated from the art department of Guilin Normal College (formerly Guilin regional education college) majoring in Chinese painting; In 2008, he studied in the first landscape painting project class of Fan Yang studio of the National Academy of Painting of China; in 2017, he graduated from the senior landscape painting research class of China Academy of Fine Arts. He is a member of China Artists Association, director of Guangxi Artists Association, deputy director of landscape creation and research department of Beijing Traditional Chinese Painting Artists Association, vice president of Guilin Lijiang Painting Academy and deputy curator of Guilin Lijiang Painting Academy Art Museum. The works of painters have been selected into the National Art Exhibition for many times and won awards. Personal comments and works in "Chinese calligraphy and painting", "Painting World", "Art Newspaper", "Art Forum", "art world", "Chinese ink elephant", traditional Chinese painting classics and other publications have been published.
