Feng Yongqiang, born in Pingyuan county, Shandong province, now lives in Beijing. Member of China Democratic Promotion Association, now member of China Artists Association, national first class artists, member of Shandong Artists Association, director of Dezhou Artists Association, director of China Shiqi Art Research Association, vice president of Beijing dazetang Painting and Calligraphy Institute, academician of Anhui ethnic Painting and Calligraphy Academy and vice president of Minjin Dezhou Kaiming Painting Academy. Feng Yongqiang graduated from Shandong Academy of Arts and Crafts, and studied traditional Chinese painting with Mr. Yao Youduo in his early years. He successively graduated from Beijing Academy of Painting and Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts from 2004 to 2007, and learned from famous painters Shi Qi, Wang Mingming and Yang Yanwen. He is good at the creation of Chinese figure paintings, whose themes involve ethnic minorities, modern workers, soldiers and so on. He often goes deep into ethnic minority areas to communicate with them, and also often communicates with power grids and communication outdoor workers, understand their most real living conditions and better show the real life scenes of all walks of life through their works. His works have participated in the national art exhibition sponsored by China Art Association for many times and won awards.
